  • Dominic's first vocal-jazz album, released in 1996, features the songs of jazz pianist Bill Evans. Evans' songs are best known as instrumentals, but many of them have fine lyrics supplied by Gene Lees, ("My Bells", "Turn Out The Stars" and "Waltz for Debby"), Jim Hall ("The Two Lonely People") and Carol Hall ("Very Early").

"The Bill Evans connection and Dominic's excellent playing, with Geoff Gascoyne and Dave Ohm, spell jazz with a capital 'J', but his singing is of that other world of sophisticated supper club and cabaret room - and that is not meant as a pejorative remark. This is a highly civilised, elegant piece of work by a extremely talented musician."
