DOMINIC ALLDIS - CABARET & PIZZA ON THE PARK

As a cabaret artsist, Dominic has performed all over the UK and abroad, entertaining audiences with a mixture of classic songs by renowned American, British and French songwriters and contemporary New-York style cabaret songs, such as Dave Frishberg’s hilarious “I'm Hip” and “Blizzard of Lies”, Bob Dorough’s “Devil May Care” and Blossom Dearie’s entrancing “Sweet Georgie Fame”.

During his tenure as resident-pianist at London’s premiere cabaret venue, Pizza on the Park, he played opposite many of the world's leading supper-club entertainers such as Blossom Dearie, Adelaide Hall, Steve Ross, Dave Frishberg, Bob Dorough, Julie Wilson, Andrea Marcovicci and Richard Rodney Bennett, and celebrated jazz pianists Teddy Wilson, Dave McKenna and Roger Kellaway.

Having lived in Paris for several years he also delivers with panache the French chanson repertoire of Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Joseph Kosma, Charles Aznavour and Michel Legrand.

He showed a winning combination of old-style British charm and
new style-keyboard skill.  He’s a class act…”
